FPNP Work Parties
contribute to the conservation
& enhancement of the Park
They are undertaken
in collaboration
with National Park staff
Past work has included
- clearance of paths
- erection of stiles at various sites
- putting up gates at a number of locations
- restoration of the pumphouse & pump engine at St Brides Haven
- beach cleaning
- clearance of invasive plant species
Current & future projects include
- restoration of the quay at Hook Colliery Wharf
- completing a footpath & bridge in the upper Solva valley
- lime kiln restoration
